Keyboard shortcuts
A reference of common FramePilot keyboard shortcuts for playback, editing, timeline navigation, and the AI agent.
FramePilot uses conventional non-linear editor (NLE) shortcuts, so if you have used a pro editor before, most of these will already be in your fingers. The tables below group the common defaults. All shortcuts are configurable in settings — remap anything that fights your muscle memory.
On macOS, use Cmd where the tables show Ctrl.
Playback
Transport controls follow the standard JKL convention editors expect.

|---|---|
| Play / pause | Space |
| Shuttle backward | J |
| Pause | K |
| Shuttle forward | L |
| Step back 1 frame | Left |
| Step forward 1 frame | Right |

Tap J or L repeatedly to shuttle faster.
